Missing Comes . . .
I just realized I haven't spread the word in a post that Missingis now scheduled to be published this fall. I can hardly wait! But at the same time, I'm trying to come up with the best ways to promote it. Any suggestions?
I see that Missing is listed as "romantic suspense". I've recently joined a Yahoo group called The Sweetest Romance Authors. They promote books of all kinds that include G-rated romances. I don't think the romance has to be the main theme of the book, but if you've got some romance in yours, you'd probably qualify to join. They're a small but growing group and are working hard to find ways to jointly promote "sweet" romances. I've found the people in the group to be extremely friendly and supportive. It might be something you'd like to check out. (And anyone else in the group who thinks their books qualify, as well.) Here's a link to read more about them: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/The_Sweetest_Romance/?yguid=9629431
Here's a link to a blog about self-promotion on LDS Publisher, too. http://ldspublisher.blogspot.com/2007/11/self-promotion-easier-said.html

I'm so excited that it's coming out this fall! That's wonderful! Wish I had some great ideas to give on self-promotion, but I'm planning on watching what you do and learning from you. :)
If you send me a copy of your book, I would be happy to review it on my personal book review blog and the LDS Womens Book Review blog. I can also have a contest to win a copy of your book if you want to spare an extra copy. I get a lot of people stopping by the blogs when I have a contest. Let me know if you are interested!
