The Writing Life--An Inpirational Thought

I recently found a quote by Anna Grossnickle Hines which I really liked and which describes the majority of my writing life. How's the writing life been for you?

"I may not have a quiet studio where I can shut the door for several hours a day, but I have my clipboard and I can write sitting on the sofa with a baby hanging onto my knees. I can stop in the middle of a sentence to comfort her after a tumble. I may not get exactly the same thought back, but the new one might be even better."~ Anna Grossnickle Hines, http://www.aghines.com

I like this quote's message. Though once baby starts to grab pencils, it's not so easy :-) But other little niches open when one closes. There are many boxes from which to escape--if there's energy enough to find them.

Ronda,
Ooo, good quote. Hines is right ... you never know when the next thought might be so much better than the original. Thanks for sharing the quote with us.

Oh—thanks, too, for stopping by and commenting at my blog, and for adding my link. You are too nice!
